About the event

Advanced Tickets Only - Limited Capacity

This is a three part evening.  First gain insight into how, over the last 12 years, scientifically proven breathwork, nutrition, mindset and cold techniques have evolved and how they helped Certified Wim Hof Method instructor Jamie, from Cotswold Breath and Body, go from an autoimmune paraplegic at 22 on 15 tablets a day to a pharmaceutical free half marathon runner.  Crucially experience these techniques yourself and learn how to apply them to your own circumstances in a 2 hour practical guided group breathing session next to South West Marine Academy's 90m deep limestone filtered open water swimming lake.  Afterwards apply your mindset and enjoy a free swim in the ice cold quarry as the sun sets.  Come down for the evening, meet like minded people and take part in all three elements or just the breathing it is up to you.  It is your night to explore breath-work first hand.  Breathe deep and learn how to use these techniques to optimize your health and energy levels, balance your hormones, lower inflammation, heal and calm your mind.

The evening takes place in the events tent on the shore of the South West Marine Academy's open water lake from 6:30pm - 9pm on Wednesday May 17th 2023.

Disclaimers

The swim portion of this night is  not guided.  You have access to the lake for your personal swimming practice.  Anyone planning to swim will need to fill in a disclaimer on the night with South West Marine Academy staff before swimming.  If you would like to see their requirements you can do so here.   Those in wetsuits do not need a toe float.  Those without wetsuits MUST wear a toe float.  All questions about swimming should be directed to South West Marine Academy here.  This is a 90 m deep open water lake filtered through layers of limestone lock.
